There’s a growing hype about trendy women’s sports clothing in the world today, and I am all in with these fashion trends! I have been playing sports since my childhood and always preferred looser fitting threads to play in, not baggy, just a loose fit and comfort. For many years after I finished dancing, the clothes became stagnate, little innovation, and everything seemed to connect you with a stereotype. Golfers wore this, tennis players wore that, soccer girls sported these, while softball players sported those. You see what I am saying here, you were classified into a category of sport based on the brands and look you rocked. While it’s pretty common to lump people into categories based on brands, it can be annoying to those of us that don’t care to be.
I remember wanting to look amazing as a contemporary dancer while also rocking a trendy look as a hip-hop performer, and therefore over half of my attire has been dance clothing. A whole lot of my dance wardrobe was made up of clothing that I stitched together myself or made from old sweatpants and scrap materials, and several more imaginative accessories I will willingly leave out of this article as 80’s fashion at times is forgettable.
Clothing is a component of our identity and we would like to make it different and fun. You most likely don’t give much thought about what you wear on the treadmill or around the neighborhood if you go for a quick stroll, but with fresh athletic brands–and even studios–popping up each month, it may be time for you to upgrade those old cut-off sweats with some fashionable sports apparel. We are heading into 2018, and in the soul of a brand new year, we have emphasized fitness trends which are poised to become large in 2018 and beyond.
Nowadays many manufacturers make trendy sports clothing. Here are a few of our favorite designers.
I list those sports because those are the ones I am familiar with, I either personally partake in playing them or I have close friends that do. My golf game is phenomenal, and I like to look nice out there on the greens. My tennis game is lacking a little, but overall I can maintain a rally with the best of them. I have yet to get involved in women’s Crossfit but have a friend that is passionate about it and has her own Crossfit clothing line for athletic females looking to be fashionable while competing in one of sports most intense tournaments.
Sports clothing technology, is designed with high-end tech gear and equipped with fibers which may help athletes move quicker, jump higher, stay cooler, and gain a competitive advantage over the competition. Though this seems like a thing of the future, I’m telling you it’s happening now. Companies like Adidas and Nike are innovating and engineering tomorrow’s sportswear into snug fitting garments for performance.
There continues to be innovative clothing lines hitting the market of sports clothing technology now at a rate more than ever. It’s quite impressive to see how much technology has advanced our wardrobe collection over the years. These innovations continue to help athletic performances in all sports.
